Yoga Basics: Yoga for Beginners

Yoga Basics: Yoga for Beginners

Yoga For Beginner recognizes that yoga is not only physically demanding at times, but that yoga always stresses that the benefit of yoga comes from union of the body and spirit. Yoga can at times put unnatural stress on the limbs and trunk, especially if you are a beginner.

Knowing this, the yogis always insist that a person practice shavasana, or the corpse posture, after a workout.

This article will inform the beginner on how this is accomplished.

Yoga for Beginners

Yoga for Beginners

Yoga For Beginner
has long seen the controversy about Yoga and its practice. I recently researched and wrote an article about the Christian viewpoint on yoga, and was very surprised in what I learned. (See the article at http://www.benefitofyoga.blogspot.com).

Yoga is not an occult or cult's practice unless you view it as such. Although I respect the Christian viewpoint concerning yoga, I am constantly reminded that yoga is a way of life, and its practice is meant only to be beneficial.

this article deals with the stages of yoga. It is a good read for the beginning yogi.
